Here's the scoop...
The house was built in 2001 by an experienced builder from Chesterfield, Virginia. We purchased the house in March of 2007 and have been enjoying it ever since. We love the location; Skyline Road is a dead end street made up mostly of year-round residents. A pool in the backyard and a short five minute walk to the beach...it's quiet, secluded....a great place to get away and relax.
The first floor contains two bedrooms, a full bath and a laundry room. One bedroom has bunks while the other bedroom has a very comfortable pull-out sofa with a 32" Vizio flat screen television equipped with Directv and a Playstation 2. The full bath has an exterior door which is very useful when the kids need to take a bathroom break from the pool. The laundry room has a washer and a dryer along with a small freezer. We keep pool/beach toys, chairs and a few bikes in the laundry room as well. The closet next to the stairway has the central vacuum hose and accessories.
The second floor contains the master bedroom and bath, another bedroom, a half bath, the kitchen and the family room. The master bedroom has a king size bed along with ample closet and dresser space. There is also a 32" flat screen television, Directv and a DVD player. The other bedroom has a queen size bed and a futon. The kitchen is spacious and able to accommodate 8 people comfortably at the tressel table. The family room is has comfortable seating with a 42" flat screen television, Directv and a DVD player. If you visit during the chillier months, there's a gas stove for extra warmth. Ceiling fans are throughout the house to make your visit nice and cool!
For your outside enjoyment, there's a first and second floor deck. The first floor deck is accessible from both bedrooms via sliders and the full bath (as noted above). The upstairs deck has views of the ocean...sit back and enjoy the breeze. Whether you're catchin' some rays, reading a book or both, it's a great place to relax.
The pool is 12' x 20' with a built in bench at one end of the pool. It's only 3'10" deep so even the younger kids can enjoy themselves without worrying about being in over their heads! Lounge chairs and beach chairs allow you the chance to sit back and soak up some sun!
